Director's Message

Science unwinds the mysteries of nature and its origin. In general, science involves a pursuit of knowledge covering truths or the operations of fundamental laws. The physical sciences cover the studies of inorganic world comprising of physics, chemistry and earth sciences while biological sciences viz, biology and medicine covers the organic world of life and its processes. The School of Basic and Applied Sciences cherish the endeavour to achieve excellence and eminence, in the field of science, research and humanity. The faculty of SBAS is committed to meet the intellectual aspirations of the students and prepare them with the skills full of multifaceted specializations in science and leadership. The faculty of the school is fully equipped to take the challenges and opportunities in teaching, research and managing students’ expectations. I strongly believe that the students of SBAS will prove an asset to the scientific fraternity. Further, we are looking forward for bilateral/multilateral collaborations and associations with other organizations, for example, guest lectures, laboratory practices, collaborative R & D works. The uniquely designed curriculum gives students the flexibility to choose multiple electives, which provides the opportunity to discover their academic passion and enhance their involvement in the learning process.
