Prof. Kulwant Singh Pathania is a distinguished academic luminary whose remarkable 36-year journey in higher education reflects excellence in scholarship, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to nation-building through education. His illustrious career spans teaching, research, academic governance, and institutional development at the highest levels.
He has held prestigious leadership positions at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, serving as Dean and Chairman, Faculty of Commerce and Management; Director, CDOE and MMTTC; and Chief Warden. His administrative foresight strengthened academic systems, research culture, and quality benchmarks within the institution.
For 23 years, he served as Coordinator of the Management Programme at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), contributing significantly to the expansion and democratization of management education. His expertise also extended internationally through his role as Consultant to the World Bank and academic engagements in the United States. Currently, he serves as Member, Board of Management (Government Nominee) at Chitkara University and as Dean Research & Director, School of Management at Maharaja Agrasen University, where he continues to foster innovation, research excellence, and academic leadership.,
An exceptional mentor and prolific scholar, Prof. Pathania has guided 45 Ph.D. scholars, published over 150 research papers, authored 15 books, and completed 10 major research projects funded by national and international agencies.
