Deepankar Kumar Ashish is associate professor in Civil Engineering Department, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology at Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU).

His expertise includes:

· Durability of cement-bound materials.

· Advanced cementitious and mineral building materials

· Use of Industrial by-products in cement-based materials

· Self-compacting concrete

· High-performance concrete

· Effect of supplementary cementitious materials (fly ash, slag, silica fume, metakaolin, etc.) on microstructure development, strength, durability, and sustainability of concrete


He is laureate of the best paper prize in recognition of his scientific work. He is the member of several national and international scientific committees and author of more than 30 publications in journals and conference proceedings. Furthermore, he regularly acts as a reviewer for about ten different scientific journals.
